Do I have to pay for the sessions included in this project?
No! Thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund all the sessions included in this project are FREE to attend.
Is there a limit to how many sessions I can attend?
No, you are welcome to come to as many sessions as you like, as many times are you like. We do ask that you book in online, just so we know who to expect.
Do I need to be good at art to attend Arts and Crafts?
Absolutely not! This is a class for EVERYONE to explore their creative side and have some fun whilst spending time with others doing the same.
Do I need to be flexible/fit to do the Yoga or Chair Yoga classes?
No. These classes are focused on mindful movement and relaxation. They are not fitness sessions. They are opportunities to connect with your body and move in ways aligned with what your body is capable of and that are right for you.
I'd like to try the Meditation, but I have never done it before, is that OK?
Absolutely! We do our best to make sure the Meditation sessions are accessible for everyone, from complete beginners to long time practitioners. We have a team of facilitators so you get to experience different styles of meditation to explore what works best for you.
Where are the sessions held?
Yoga, Coffee Shops and Arts ad Crafts are all held at our venue at 28 Bridge Street, King's Lynn, PE30 5AB. Wednesday/Thursday Chair Yoga are all held on Zoom so can be accessed from wherever you are.
I am a bit nervous about coming. what do you suggest?
We are more than happy to meet you beforehand or have a chat on the phone to support you to attend. We know it can be scary coming somewhere new and we want to do whatever we can to ensure you feel comfortable. Lots of our participants felt the same way and so everyone is very supportive and encouraging of each other.
