COVID-19 POLICY

WHAT WE ARE DOING:

  • In line with government guidance, before attending, you will be asked to fill in a COVID-19 Risk Assessment Questionnaire when you book your session.

  • Windows will be OPEN during sessions/classes to ensure good ventilation.

  • There will be 30 minutes between every session to allow for thorough cleaning of all surfaces/equipment and change of any linens used. This also allows for fresh air to circulate in the room/building and is in line with guidance regarding ventilation.

  • We have sanitising stations throughout the building and social distancing markers on the floors. Your therapist/teacher will open all doors for you, and will give extra guidance where necessary.

  • We have disinfectant spray and antibacterial wipes available for mats, and also in the bathrooms.

  • We have boxes available for personal belongings/clothing during a class/session. These will be thoroughly cleaned between each use.

  • The yoga studio is marked out for social distancing with numbered places for mats. Your teacher will direct you to your space for that session. Please adhere to all guidance from your teacher before, during and after class.

  • Close contact therapies such as myofascial release, reflexology and Reiki are currently limited to 60 minute sessions. To ensure you get the maximum out of your treatment, also included in the price is an optional 15 minute pre-treatment consult on Zoom/phone the day before your session, a 15 minute follow up call 7 days later and the option of access to our online self-treatment classes.

  • All session times will be staggered to best ensure your safety and keep the number of people in the building to a minimum.

  • For all touch therapies (MFR, Reiki, reflexology etc), your therapist will be wearing appropriate PPE. This will include a face shield, mask and/or gloves where necessary. Clients are also required to wear a face covering wherever possible, except when to do so would be injurious (for example when lying face down or if you have a pre-existing condition). We also have single use masks and gloves available on site for you if you wish to wear them.

  • For talk therapies, your counsellor will adhere to social distancing guidelines.

  • We will store your name and contact details for 21-days in line with government guidance. This is so we can contact you should we need to inform you of a suspected case of COVID-19.

WHAT WE ASK YOU TO DO:

  • If you or anyone in your household has shown any COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days please DO NOT attend your appointment.

  • If you wake up with symptoms on the day of your session, please DO NOT attend. Inform your therapist/teacher and you will NOT be charged any cancellation fee. (Please see below for a list of symptoms)

  • We will not rebook you for at least 14 days in line with government guidance.

  • We ask that you maintain social distancing where possible and follow all guidance given by your therapist/teacher.

  • Please make use of the available sanitising stations on entry/exit of the building as well as on entry/exit of the yoga studio or therapy suite.

  • Please call/text your therapist/teacher when you arrive to let them know you are here. They will then let you in via the front door on Bridge Street. Please DO NOT knock or try to open the door yourself. Please do not arrive earlier than 5 minutes before your session time as, in line with guidance, we have no waiting room facilities in action at this time.

  • For therapy clients, there should be no-one else arriving at the same time as you to ensure your safety.

  • For classes, if more than one person arrives at one time, please form an orderly queue, adhering to social distancing on the street outside the building and the teacher will let you in. Please adhere to the social distancing markers in the reception room and do not move forward until the marker in front of you is clear. Your teacher will direct you to your space in the studio. We ask you to please be mindful and respectful of others.

  • Please bring minimal belongings with you to your session. Any belongings will be placed in a plastic box and kept with you.

  • For yoga classes, at this time, we require you to bring your own mat/any props you wish to use.

  • The latest government guidance states holistic therapy clients are required to wear a face covering wherever possible, unless to do so would be injurious (such as when lying face down or if you have a pre-existing condition).

  • There is disinfectant spray and wipes available should you wish to clean your mat. Please sanitise your hands using the provided sanitiser before and after using the spray bottle.

  • We ask that you bring your own bottled water with you, should you wish to, and that it be kept in your belongings box during your time in the building.

  • If you have to use the toilets whilst in the building, please follow the displayed guidance and use the provided cleaning wipes for anything you have touched. We are sorry we have to ask you to do this but it is for everyone's safety and well-being.

Overall, we ask that you be mindful, considerate and respectful with your behaviour/actions, as well as compassionate in your attitude towards others and yourself during this time. This is challenging for everyone, but if we work together, we can ensure everyone has a good experience.

We thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.
